04/2015
My recent professional experience is linked to Slovenska
sporitelna and its daughter company Erste Group IT, where I spent more than 10 years, the
last 4 as a Head of Enterpise Architecture. My main objectives were to establish
a functional architecture practice in the bank, and align the appliacion
and technology landscape with the bank’s strategy. I
directly managed 6 architects, indirectly more than 20.
Projects:
Target
Application Architecture Program – I was initiator and executor of the program,
which has been focused to change SLSP's application and technology portfolio
for better alignment with current business strategy. Program consists of roadmap
development, several implementation projects and governance umbrella.
TOGAF ADM implementation – Tailoring the framework for fit to Slovenska
sporitelna. Key activities were creation of Application Portfolio Catalog and
its governance; implementation
of Enterprise Architerure Repository, modelling tool (BiZZdesign Architect),
including SLSP's metamodel, patterns, trainings (Archimate, BPML and UML); and
tailoring with key change management processes (project management and change
management).
CMDB implementation – I was directly
responsible for creation of CMDB and relevant governance processes.

I was responsible for Performance
Management and Tuning project within
New Banking System Program (NIS).
The main objective of the project was to prepare the new core banking system
and integrated legacy systems to withstand the expected load in production. At
the final of the projects I was responsible for creation of Performance
Testing Unit, testing methodology and processes, and hadover to line (acording to ITIL).

As a Head of Security and Compliance unit I have been
responsible for information security and compliance with local legislation and other
related regulations (PCI DSS e.g.). From June 2007 till March 2008 this
position was group-wide – I was responsible for subsidaries in the Czech Republic
and Croatia as well.

2004-20010
When I joined Slovenska sporitelna, I was
responsible for operation of it‘s Demilitarized Zone. I was responsible
for design of appropiete operational processes to ensure 24x7 operation, with
high security standards. Later I was responsible for redesign of
demilitarized zone, and implementation of new technology (Nokia to Crossbeam). I was a teamleader of 4 experts.
